The KitchenAid accessory Flex Edge Beater is suitable for the KitchenAid  Artisan 1.3 HP (5KSM7580), Heavy Duty 1.3 HP (5KSM7591) and Professional 1.3 HP (5KSM7990).
The flex edge beater is used for normal to heavy mixtures, such as cakes, frostings, cookies and mashed potatoes. The flex edge design guarantees faster mixing, without stopping the motor and using a spatula. It is made of coated metal with a silicone inside.
